When a widespread outbreak of a contagious disease or virus occurs, sometimes governments, on the advice of their health advisors take action in closing some public institutions -schools are usually top of the list.

Of course, those affected are usually happy to comply as not only do they feel poorly but would most probably prefer to be at home being cared for.
Up to now the worst affected area resulting in school closures was in Mexico in addition to a ban on gathering in public places.
